"I offered her my honor. She honored my offer. And all night long, it was honor and offer."
Anybody remember "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis"? It's OLD SKOOL Nick@Nite, where Dobie kept fucking up with women. Well, I'm drunk and having a similar night. How are 3 upset with me at once? I was raised by women, but can't understand them to save my life. I just want to sleep it all away..Tomorrow, everyone will love me and I'll be the belle of the ball...I mean...the quarterback! Current Music: Pure Moods Current Mood: Baby Dino...traveling through time :-(

i know its hard to admit that your crazy, opinionated, tough-ass, 'never let 'em see you sweat' girlfriend can be a girly, 90210-style mess sometimes. but, it happens. as much as i want to pretend that the sterotypical 'perfect girls' don't get to me and that i'm above society's definition of beautiful. sometimes, i just need to be a girl about it. sometimes i need to bitch that i'm too fat-tall-brunette-whatever. and sometimes it goes beyond bitching and upsets me. i don't have an apology, nor do i expect one... it just happens. as it does to all girls, at some point, i suspect. i usually don't complain about the pressure the media places on girls to look a certain way b/c i like to think we can ignore it and rise above it. but sometimes being a girl sucks.... and i'm sorry that sometimes being the boyfriend to that girl sucks as a result. oh, and no using baby dino for sad faces! :)

hmm... i disagree that girls can always just ignore media pressures, and guys shouldn't act like we can just overcome and love our bodies or whatever. it's as much the responsibility of the guy to ignore beauty image perpetuated by the media as it is for women.
it annoys me too when my other half gets pissed when i bitch about my weight and stuff. sometimes you just want to hear that you're beautiful when you're surrounded by media images telling you you're not. and as much as you can deal with it 99% of the time, there's always that nagging 1% of the time when your self-confidence falters and you just want to be reassured.
